Belgian Gilles Elseneer revealed today he was offered 100,000 euros to lose a first-round match during Wimbledon 2005, but he instantly said no. Another Belgian tennis player, Dick Norman, said he declined an offer of £9,000 to provide information on other players’ problems and minor injuries.
