The action continues in Rome with the Internazionali BNL D’Italia 1st round coming to an end this Tuesday. Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixture below and lists the best available odds from green listed bookmakers.

ATP Rome – Anderson vs. Zverev

Known as one of the most promising young players on the ATP World Tour, Alexander Zverev is going through a great moment in his career. Besides winning his first title on German soil in Munich two weeks ago, Alexander is currently on his career-high ranking as the world no.17. Zverev is looking for another successful campaign on a Masters 1000 event after reaching the quarter-finals in Madrid last week.

The former world no.10 – Kevin Anderson – continues his successful comeback with an outstanding 7 – 2 record on the European clay-court season in 2017. Due to his low ranking, Kevin had to play the qualifying in Rome with two good victories over Luca Vanni and Ernesto Escobedo. Looking now at Anderson’s numbers in the qualifying, the highlight goes to his serve with the South-African winning 95.45% of his service games.

These two players are no strangers with Zverev emerging victorious from their previous encounter in Washington two years ago.

Despite Zverev’s brilliant results in recent weeks, it’s hard to find any value on his tennis betting odds at 2/5 with William Hill. As we mentioned in the previous analysis, playing against a qualifier in the opening round is always dangerous. With this in mind, the value is definitely on Anderson’s side at 9/4 with Ladbrokes. Besides the value on Kevin’s moneyline, the Over 22.5 at 23/25 with Pinnacle is also a very interesting approach for this contest.

WTA Rome – Davis vs. Suarez Navarro

Playing in Rome brings great memories to Carla Suarez Navarro with the 2015 Internazionali BNL D’Italia runner-up presenting an outstanding 73.33% winning record on this event since 2013. After slow start to 2017, the Spaniard is returning to her best level with some good performances in Stuttgart and Madrid. Adding to this, the slower conditions in Rome are perfect for her game style.

At the age of 23, Lauren Davis is going through the best moment in her career with the American winning her first title earlier this season in Auckland. Despite her undeniable quality, clay is far from Lauren’s favourite surface. Taking a look now at Davis’ numbers throughout her career on the WTA Tour on red dirt, the world no.27 only won 23.53% of the matches played on this surface in Europe.

This will be the 3rd career meeting between these two players with Suarez Navarro leading on the h2h by 2 – 0.

Despite Davis’ recent improvements, it’s unlikely to see the American overcoming such a tough opponent on this surface as Suarez Navarro. Having said that, our suggestion is for you to take advantage of Carla’s tennis odds to secure a place in the following round at 49/100 with Pinnacle.

For those who want to take a higher risk, Suarez Navarro’s -4.0 game handicap at 49/50 witht Pinnacle is also a valuable play for this match.
