The International Gaming Conference & Expo to tackle legal issues of offshore gambling

Tony Fontaine, Chairman of the conference which will be held April 9-11 in San Jose, Costa Rica, indicated in Mark Mendel and I. Nelson Rose the two “legal minds” that will diagnose and dissect the status of governments and gaming, from current bills being pushed before the US Congress right down to the WTO ruling in the dispute between Antigua and the United States.

“It is a long awaited and overdue discussion at this level,” said Fointaine.

Chris Dauer, Director of Conferences for The Sports Network, went on to state that Mendel and Rose will kick off a conference that promises to bring a lineup that has already been referred to as “The New York Yankees of speakers.”

Dauer further indicated that panelists, moderators and presenters from Malta, Antigua, London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, Costa Rica, Virgin Islands, Montreal, and Ontario, will be discussing poker, horse racing, skill gaming, payment solutions, affiliate relationships, technology, wireless interaction, M&A, IPOs, exit strategies, international legal and regulatory issues, marketing and brand awareness, competitive preferable jurisdictions, handicapping and sports content as site enhancements, Asian and European markets, appeal of soccer, cricket, rugby and other sports.
