Champions League season is coming to an end as four teams are fighting for a place in the final. Monaco, one of the best attacking teams in Europe, face Juventus the best defense in the European football. Juventus are unbeaten in this season’s Champions League (7 wins and 3 draws) and they haven’t conceded a goal for 531 minutes, the longest run in the competition. Monaco have huge attacking firepower being the 1st team in the Champions League history to score at least three goals in four consecutive knock-out games. At the same time, they have a really poor defense conceding 16 goals this season, more than any other semi-finalists.

Monaco currently sits 1st in the French Ligue 1 standings and they need to pick up six points from their next four matches in order to win the title and to stop PSG’s run. They are lethal in the attack with Kylian Mbappe and Radamel Falcao performing at their highest level all season long. They are coming after a 3-1 victory against Toulouse in the French Ligue 1 to make it seven wins from their last eight encounters in all competitions. They are really strong when playing on their turf winning 13 from their last 14 home matches and scoring 37 goals in the process. They haven’t failed to find the back of the net in their home matches since November 2015 and we highly doubt Juventus can stop them from maintaining this impressive run.

In the Italian Serie A, Juventus are 1st in the standings, 9 points clear of 2nd place Roma with 4 rounds to go till the end of the season. They are really close to winning their six Scudetto in a row as they need just 3 points from their last four fixtures. Their main objective is to win the Champions League trophy and they are two steps away from making it possible. They are the most constant team in the European top 5 football leagues this season and their experience should prove crucial in this double leg match.

Obviously, there is a battle of styles and we are all curious to see if Juventus’s defense can deal with Monaco’s attacking quality. Another interesting debate is if Monaco’s poor defense will improve against Juventus’s attacking firepower – Dybala, Higuain, Mandzukic. Juventus are really lucky to play the 2nd leg on their turf and they should qualify further. But talking about the 1st leg, we expect another exciting match between two awesome teams, with goals to be scored early in the game as Monaco will push from the start and Juventus, will strike on the break.
