Washington State amending anti-online gambling legislation: a posting error

A statement from the Governor’s Office said that reports about House Bill 1243 passing the House and Senate vote are false. The results posted by the Washington State legislature were for HB 1343, a Motor Vehicle Registration bill, and have been attributed to HB 1243 by mistake. The House Bill 1243, which attempts to ease the anti-online gambling legislation, did not pass through the legislature.
