Bally’s Corporation has announced the launch of its mobile sports betting app, Bally Bet, in Tennessee, and it now brings to 10 states where Bally Bet is operating.

Footprint Expansion

Tennessee welcomed its 11th sports betting app with the recent launch of Bally Bet. The Providence-based Bally Bet is now active in 10 states, including Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, New York, Ohio, and Virginia, while going live in Maryland and Massachusetts this summer.

The company’s press release stated, “The Bally Bet sportsbook app encompasses all the features that customers adore and much more, solidifying its position as the premier choice for sports wagering in Tennessee. Sports enthusiasts can easily access Bally Bet and download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Bally’s Interactive has worked closely with sports betting regulators in Tennessee to ensure a responsible and timely launch, prioritizing responsible gambling.”

Bally’s is hoping to differentiate itself from the others in the market with its “Parlay Zone” feature, allowing customers to tailor their daily parlays to their interests. We should also note the app’s “Picks” tab, which offers videos from handicappers and social media influencers in the sports betting realm.

Bally’s is arriving late to the party after Tennessee launched sports betting on November 1, 2020. Therefore, it will have to make a splash in the market and generate publicity to woo customers away from its competitors, including BetMGM, Fanatics, Hard Rock, FanDuel, Caesars, ESPN BET, DraftKings, Betly, ZenSports, and Action 247 Sportsbook.

Goals for Gear

Bally’s has been an official sponsor of the Nashville Predators since 2021, but now that the company has gone live with its mobile sports betting launch, expect to see a more vigorous engagement between the two parties. The “Goals for Gear” program allows fans to win Predators merchandise and other promotional products.

According to Bally’s website, “The partnership, which runs through 2025, will grant Nashville Predators intellectual property rights to Bally’s, as well as provide Bally’s with access to team logos, marks, and certain content rights. The agreement marks Bally’s first partnership with an NHL franchise and its first with a professional sports team in the state of Tennessee.”

The Predators remain the only NHL franchise with whom Bally’s is affiliated, and now that the app has been launched, we may see an extension of the pact between the two brands.

“The Nashville Predators occupy a special place in sports fans’ hearts across Tennessee, and their Bridgestone Arena provides a unique and electric atmosphere. It will be a great venue in which to market our brand, especially when combined with Predators game broadcasts on Bally Sports South,” said Adi Dhandhania, Chief Operating Officer of Bally Interactive, the company’s digital division.
