After a successful collaboration in New Jersey, online gaming operator bet365 has agreed to extend its partnership with gambling software development company Playtech into Pennsylvania.

Let’s take a closer look at the extension of the partnership and how it might impact top-rated sportsbooks.

Successful Partnership

British gaming company bet365 partnered with the Isle of Man’s Playtech in 2020 to bring its catalog of casino games to the New Jersey online gaming marketplace. The partnership has proved mutually beneficial, leading to the drafting of a new agreement to achieve the same results in Pennsylvania.

Speaking on this latest development, a bet365 spokesperson said, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Playtech into Pennsylvania. Our collaboration has consistently delivered innovative and exciting gaming experiences for our players. We look forward to developing upon our already solid partnership as we continue to grow our offering and achieve new milestones together in the US market.”

Playtech has also been active in selling its Italian sports betting and gaming company, Snaitech. Flutter Entertainment, the parent company of FanDuel, bought it for $2.56 billion. The sale will increase the company’s financial resources. It will also allow it to concentrate more time, energy, and money into its online gaming systems.

Bet365 Is Inspired

The deal with Playtech is just the most recent bet365 partnership. It follows a similar collaboration with Inspired Entertainment, another gaming software company that produces content for online channels worldwide. The two companies initially partnered in New Jersey. They have now expanded to Pennsylvania, following the same blueprint bet365 laid out with Playtech.

A spokesperson for bet365 added, “We’re thrilled to be expanding our partnership with Inspired, in a milestone announcement for bet365. (…) The partnership marks a significant advancement in our US expansion, showcasing our commitment to providing the most innovative and engaging gaming experience.”

Brooks Pierce, President and CEO of Inspired, stated, “We’re thrilled to be expanding our partnership with bet365. Our goal is to deliver high-quality content that meets the evolving needs of players in North America. (….) bet365 knows what its customers want, and we’re confident that we can drive growth and provide an exceptional gaming experience for bet365’s Pennsylvania customers.”

In another partnership extension, bet365 recently announced it would extend its deal with Gentoo Media (formerly GiG Media). The deal has been extended for another year on a partnership that has already spanned six years. This means bet365 will continue to use Gig Comply to help the company maintain regulatory compliance throughout the jurisdictions.

According to Gentoo Media’s website, its Gig Comply has three key features for its clients:

  • Avoid financial and reputational losses caused by regulatory enforcement.
  • Save time on your day-to-day compliance routines and focus on growing your business.
  • Ensure transparent, compliant marketing efforts.
