Hard Rock Bet has been active in partnering with various entities, and Florida’s restaurant chain, Duffy’s Sports Grill, is the most recent example. Hard Rock Bet will have a presence throughout 30 Duffy’s locations across the Sunshine State.
Official Game Day Partner
Hard Rock Bet and Duffy’s Sports Grill are partnering up to promote a game day experience replete with watch parties, content creation opportunities, and all kinds of brand interactions that will blend a good time atmosphere of food and drink along with the excitement of the Hard Rock Bet brand.
“We are so proud to partner with Florida’s only legal sportsbook, Hard Rock Bet, and offer our MVPs special promotions when they dine with us. It truly is the perfect sports match-up between Florida’s largest family-owned restaurant chain and the most exciting sportsbook in the nation,” said Joe Webb, Chief Executive Officer of Duffy’s Sports Grill. “For decades, we have been known as the ultimate sports and dining destination with our eighty-plus TVs in each location, top-quality food, and 2-for-1 drinks all day every day. To be able to enhance our MVPs experience with this partnership with Hard Rock Bet is the equivalent of a game-winning score.”
“With a communal sports atmosphere and the passionate fandom of its loyal MVPs, Duffy’s Sports Grill is a perfect complement to Hard Rock Bet,” said Nick Menas, Hard Rock Bet’s head of partnerships. “We’re excited to roll with Duffy’s Sports Grill as an official game day partner of Hard Rock Bet and look forward to driving player engagement and loyalty at their 30 Florida locations.”
Hard Rock Bet Moving on From Litigation
Miami-based parimutuel company West Flagler Associates ran out of legal ammunition regarding its gambit to break up the Seminoles’ sports betting monopoly in the Sunshine State, courtesy of its compact with the state and endorsed by the Department of the Interior.
However, a recent negotiation resulted in the two parties working together. The Seminole Tribe agreed to carry West Flagler’s affiliate’s Jai Alai matches on the Hard Rock Bet app menu beginning in 2025. In return, WFA agreed to drop all current and future litigation against the Seminole Tribe and its sports betting brand.
According to Jim Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming, “This is truly a win-win agreement for the Seminole Tribe and West Flagler. This agreement establishes a relationship of collaboration among the Seminole Tribe and West Flagler in the State of Florida. Rather than engaging in years of additional litigation, this agreement will allow the parties to work together to promote Jai Alai, which has played an important role in Florida’s gaming landscape for nearly 100 years.”
Now that the legal drama is over, Hard Rock Bet can focus on its partnerships, like the one it secured with the NHL’s Florida Panthers. This agreement allows retail sports betting at the Panthers’ Amerant Bank Arena located in Sunrise, Florida. The Hard Rock brand will be front and center at the Panthers’ home venue with digital signage on the dasher boards and throughout the arena.
“We are thrilled to enter into an exciting new partnership with Hard Rock Bet. Through this partnership, we will increase fan engagement and excitement around the game of hockey in South Florida and beyond by adding an entirely new element to the game,” said Florida Panthers chief revenue officer Shawn Thornton.
