Hawaii bookmaker sentenced to 20 months in prison

A federal judge sentenced Eric Ford, the owner of a bottled-water company in Kailua-Kona, to 20 months in prison for running a sports betting operation in Hawaii Big Island.

In 2012 the indictment had revealed how Ford had used offshore sports betting site World Wide Wagering (wager.dm) to facilitate bets.
