We don\’t all get along well.
That much is clear, especially when you include money into the equation. And when you think about the relationship between punter and bookie, where there is an equal motivation to fleece the other of their cash, typically inside of the lines.
Boundaries are not always respected.
Sometimes players go for a bigger of serving than a sign up bonus than deserved through nefarious means, and sometimes bookies look for reasons not to pay.
However you would characterise the relationship between player and bookie, the fact that is a complex one should not be in dispute.
Fast-forward to present day.
BMR user tommy85cz had the following to say about online bookmaker 1XBet:
“I have really bad experience with this bookie. Unable to withdraw money due to very strict bonus conditions and when you try to rollover 25times your bonus they start limit your. First they limit your prematch bets, than they limit live bets. No chance to discus! They still repeating points from their terms and conditions, that they reverse the right to limit a maximum stake. So there is no chance to withdraw money you really won. This bookie never more!”
Bookmakers Review understands Tommy\’s frustration. It is no fine firing away at palty betting limits and feeling that the end is never in sight.
What is customary at top level bookmakers is to cut players loose whom they simply have no desire to serve. At the end of the day, it is a waste of time to keep a player whose action you are not keen to expect, and reads more like hoping the players gets so frustrated he blows the balance, even if it is death by a thousand paper cuts.
As Tommy noted, he has a sportsbook bonus to rollover. Because of that, and depending how low his limits were slashed to, there is a chance the bookmaker would prorate the player\’s action, should he be wagering with any of his own funds.
Bookmakers Review is looking into what can be done in this punter\’s dispute.
