With such a short regular season, it’s expected that things start getting spooky for some teams toward the end of October.
Bejesus
As the Halloween decorations (and some of the team records) start scaring the bejesus out of us (looking at you Packers), Week 8 kicks off with an interesting matchup on Thursday, October 26, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Buffalo to play the Bills.
While that might not be the best game on the slate, it will probably be less lopsided than the NFC East matchup between the Eagles and the Commanders in Washington.
Divisional Matchups
Speaking of divisional matchups, we got three more divisional matchups including another edition of the Vikings vs. the Packers out in Lambeau Field as Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love try to put the loss against the Broncos behind.
For the afternoon slate, the Chiefs will visit the Mile High City, as the Broncos host Patrick Mahomes and company.
Last, but Not Least
For the Sunday Night slot, we get the Bears at the Chargers and hopefully, the matchup isn’t as gory as it looks on paper. Last but not least, the Raiders and the Lions will wrap things up on Monday Night Football. Happy Halloween!
