The wins will come. They always do. Just have to weather the storm. You need something big

Let’s recap this sequence.Former Tampa trainer Schistl has one going at Gulf in about 15 mins.
Gulf Race 1
$20 win #3 Free Charging 8-1
$2 DD 3,7/1,7
.50c tri 3,7/ALL/3,7
Tampa card looks good too. Will burn some money there as well…
Risked $33, -$1637
Tough Game RD. How do you cap? I see you mention the trainers a lot. I don't cap too much by trainer angles but do look at the pertinent Metrics for the trainer from BRIS.Let’s recap this sequence.
Race 1, the 7 wins for fun. Just need the 3 to run second or third to catch ex or tri. Unfortunately, 3 breaks terribly ruining all chance.
BUT, was alive to the 1 and 7 in double, for $250 and $190.
7 runs out, 1 runs second.
Fun sport….
I handicap trainers using meet-specific stats. For example, A trainer could hit 6% nationwide on turf, but if they hit 25% on turf at Tampa, that’s when I jump in.Tough Game RD. How do you cap? Another wonderful sequence. 6 and 7 run third and second. When you are going good, you cash half of these “stretch coin-tosses.” When you are running bad, you get blanked.Tampa Race 6
$20 win #6 Grainger County 10-1
$2 exbx 6-7
.50c tri 6,7/ALL/6,7
$2 DD 6/1,2,9
.50c P3 6/ALL/9
Allen an old-school Tampa trainer with decent ROI here. She flies under the radar these days so that’s when I get on board.
Risked $39, -$1670
OK RD thx for the run down. I am more of a pace, speed, class capper. One reason why this is a great game is the various ways players handicap. Good luck rest of the TB Meet.I handicap trainers using meet-specific stats. For example, A trainer could hit 6% nationwide on turf, but if they hit 25% on turf at Tampa, that’s when I jump in.
I also exclude horses in that manner. For example, for years Bruce Levine would hit 25% combined at all NYRA tracks, but only like 4% at Saratoga. Would help me toss his faves at Saratoga.
That’s just a general overview. I look at more specific scenarios such as class level moves, surface switches, layoffs, etc.
Started this years ago when I found Jim Mazur’s Progressive Handicappping books. Have continued on with it since he discontinued Tampa.
Doing well, Chuck! You?Hang in there, rd. Hope things are good for you.
Ya, very well. Knock on woodDoing well, Chuck! You?
You beat me. I couldn't find any Corned Beef.Spieth runs a great 4th at 44-1, after getting pinched at break. 7 runs second. Par for the course.
At least I have corned beef and beer!

Thats tuff.shitOchoa caught me sleeping today, boys. He won race 6 at 27-1, while I was busy with other endeavors.
I have faith that he has some more magic left in him.
