I predicted long ago he has absolutely zero chance of success losing weight in a house full of horrible food. The wife and family needs to join him or it's hopeless.

Watching Americans trying to lose weight is really sad. The whole world is laughing at you.

Not anymore, Tank. I think I stopped 2 yrs ago. I have no working equipment at home and if I want to start again, the only option is to go back to the gym. So far, rn.. I want to lose some weight first and once I feel lighter, that's the time I want to hit the gym.

I agree if unhealthy food is at your fingertips in your home you will fail every week, temptation too large.

Moving to Las Vegas destroyed bobby

Most get destroyed financially by the casinos, Bobby was destroyed romantically and physically

Can we get bobby back to health??
LMAO
I wouldn't say Bobby was destroyed romantically. Ms. Bobby (angeleyes) seems like a perfect fir for him. But, 100% right about people getting crucified financially in Vegas.

Good for you, QL. If you already tried it before it would be easy to adjust if you start it again now.

Is the no-carb diet equivalent to Keto? I don't think I can survive w/o carbs.
The keto diet is a low-carb diet of less than 50 grams of carbs per day. A no-carb diet is no carbs. I've switched to a low-carb diet.

I've been following people on a no-carb diet and they say they lack energy at first but once their body gets used to not having carbs they get energy from fats and actually feel more energetic than before the diet.

I think I would like the no-carb diet if I'm aiming for a fast weight goal result, but I wouldn't dare do it for the long term.

How about hitting the gym sooner and then when you "feel lighter" and it's time to work out more, you will already be in some sort of gym shape.

Right?

lol Genie, but seriously, why put off going to the gym if you're planning on eventually going anyway?

I'm only in my second week of dedicated daily gym action and I already have more energy and feel stronger and overall feel great. A few weeks into it and I'm bound to feel really, really good.

No more excuses, rationalizations, and procrastinations, @BMR Genie , @BobbyFK and everyone else who is otherwise healthy, capable, and not injured and wants to get it in.

Now is as good a time as any to start getting it in and getting in the habit of getting it in is the next step after starting to get it in.

So let's get it in everybody.

@BMR Genie , @BobbyFK and all trying to get started, just put in a couple of minutes of cardio at first.

Let's see some daily reports of how you guys burn calories each day.

Not weekly, daily.

The elliptical is good low impact way to start, just a couple of minutes to begin with, and it's nice to have a partner to workout with...
