Beside the original Halloween, "House of 1000 Corpses" has to be the best. Intense. Freak you the fvck out 1st time you watch it.

This movie is a staple in the gaucho household. I love this flick. RIP Sid Haig.

I have been on a horror movie bender as it's the season. Watched the following:

Hellraiser (2022) - actually a really good reimagined storyline that made more sense than any of the others. The ending is pretty cool.
Books of Blood (2020) Another Clive Barker story that was pretty good. Again an interesting ending.
Grimcutty (2022) This is more of a dark comedy but probably just skip it. It's pretty dumb.

Other favorites around this time of the year - The Exorcist, Evil Dead 2, The Shining, and of course every Simpsons Tree House of Horrors.

So I'm watching this randomly w my gal at the time and one of the 2 old ladies in the park bench they interview is my Ex Wife's grandma lol

Yes, Not what we expected at all as didn't feel like a Halloween movie. Wasn't bad just didn't feel the same until it was almost over. Re-watching the Rob Zombie 2007 one now. Absolutely love this one. I Thought he did a great job with it and did as well as anyone could imagine retelling the tale of the masterpiece the 1st one was. Only negative i had in that one was maybe the actress that played Laurie and that is being picky,

Didn't realize don't fear the Reaper was in this one as well.
