I mentioned damn near every field we play on now is artificial turf.

I have to admit, we've had a lot more injuries, even at the High School level over the last 7-8 years when they put it in. We've lost an RB or QB to ankle/knee injuries every year.

High school football is getting kind of ridiculous as far as spending money goes. We had an indoor practice facility built several years ago as part of a school bond vote. Football in Texas is KING. The rest of the sports are after-thoughts.
