Instead of being prefab picks, it would be better to just let people make their own picks and grade those. If you want even picks, make it a requirement that you cannot post a line worse than -110. Even if someone was cheating, they would not get 1 point.

Let me know what you think of set-up. It was a lot harder than what I thought on getting the best games but still having accurate lines the night before. I had originally wanted to not have spreads but with no MLB their just wasn't as much to choose from to get closer to even odds on a daily basis. Than with games starting at different times and with tournaments coming up I felt it would be best to just put up a few time slots and put in games based on that. All games are used from https://www.bookmakersreview.com/odds/

I will usually post the next day's lines between 9-12 Pacific time so 12-3 am or East Coast. Scoring I made +1 pt win and -1 point loss and ties/draws zero for ease on spreadsheet. gL!!

I like the set up and as long as the rules are the same for everyone then all that play have the same chance to win!!

Yeah, if you have a problem with a contest, the problem is not the people in the contest, it is the contest.

We will probably have it where you can send selections in the last week as well. That is where issues usually arise with someone in lead just making same picks as 2nd place guy or those below picking opposite. You see it all over the years but that is usually with the bigger post-up contests. Most are computerized now and not an issue.

Damn, tough matches this week. Today we already had some good ones with a 3-2 man U win and both Spieth and Brooks doing terrible but neck and neck and same close match-up with Colin and JT. Fun events to bet.

There is a clause in rules saying about integrity of the contest that BMR forum can decide outcome. Yeah it is not in the rules saying you can't just play steam/stale lines but if everyday you wait until the last minute and only play that than you are a desperate broke dick IMO. I have seen many do it though over the years.

Marky Mark made a thread suggesting this and me saying something along these lines...geez you can't trust the steam for every single play specially if you're not doing it in quantity, 3 picks per day is way too little so you better put some thought into it

Sharps also lose so you might as well want to do your research, handicap your games and use the steam as an extra tool but please don't make it the cornerstone of your betting strategy if your not playing volume. PSA over

I am sure there is a much easier and quicker way of doing them but I kinda like the old school approach and keep your brain sharp. Use it or lose it. Some do brain puzzles, give me a contest instead.

They will be included as well as 1 tennis play at least from Miami. If I use a guy 1 day than I use a female the next. Books are not putting up a lot of there odds as quick anymore. Luckily BM has been for the baseball or I would have no lines for that. If i see under 120 odds than I make pk em. 125-140 is when I add the half since it is spring training with ties than is over 150 than the -1.5. I only pick the best games/match-ups any sport and look at all sports. Thanks for the post.

Thanks. You do a good job I know it’s a lot of work. The WGC Match Play is golf but I’m sure you knew that. It confused me when you said you’ll add one male and one female matchup.
