We are in a generation where it's hard to own our house unless inherited from our parents/family.
My g/f is set to inherit a house from her father because he’s about to pass away from stage 4 bile duct cancer. She told me the other day she wouldn’t be able to own a house in South Florida otherwise she’s a full-time massage therapist.

Bottom Line: Compared to today’s desktops, mainframe computers were 128 times slower, more than 8,000 as expensive, and were more than 1 million times as expensive in terms of cost per MHz.

Also the ppl who demanded & succeeded in getting minimum wage raised to $15.00+ caused a domino effect in major inflation too
it's always been the elites' goal to eliminate middle class and make the lower class the perceived enemy.

let's look at CEO CFO bonuses and salary from fortune 500 companies they ate up all the smaller competition

average top CEO compensation was $13.9 million in 2020, slightly below its level in 2019. In 2020, the ratio of CEO-to-typical-worker compensation was 351-to-1 under the realized measure of CEO pay; that is up from 307-to-1 in 2019 and a big increase from 21-to-1 in 1965 and 61-to-1 in 1989. CEOs are even making a lot more than other very high earners (wage earners in the top 0.1%)—more than six times as much. From 1978 to 2020

Is all this information just coming off the top of your head ? Yeah, I know the gap has been extended from the middle class to the rich. Especially since the pandemic.
