Not quite, through 20 games average score was 41 compared to the NFL 44 as it states in the article Header posted.

I seem to remember a run of unders at the start and then scoring picked up and it was cancelled. I am surprised at the 41 ppg though, I didnt think it was that high.

I just looked it up actually. Games were either like 50 points or 20 points. The under has gotten hit though in these first weekend games.

The XFL is playing all of their games in Arlington, and the Renegades are the only team who will not have to travel. The other teams will fly into Arlington each week, while the Renegades won’t have to face any travel all season long. The Renegades are a 2.5-point favorite against the Vegas Vipers to kick off the XFL season at 3:00 pm ET on ABC. The Total is set at 36.5 points.

The Renegades (+550) and Vipers (+650) are both expected to be competitive judging from XFL Futures markets. The XFL features former NFL All-Pros such as WR Josh Gordon, OLB Vic Beasley and more.
