Osijek were rewarded for last seasons 4th place finish with a Conference League qualification against Zira of Azerbaijan. They played to a 1 - 1 draw 3 days ago in the 1st leg and travel in 4 days to play the 2nd leg on the road. Todays league game is on home soil against the top team in Croatia for several years now , D. Zagreb. D. Zagreb were once again runaway winners last season and await a Ch League match down the road. They are healthy and rested with an opening day 5- 0 win a week ago. They should be able to impose their will on Osijek as the game wears on. Its a heat warning 35C in Osijek
