Are they better off without Carlos Carrera

I think they caught a break because Carlos Correa is barely hitting above .200 and he might be damaged goods more than the Giants and Mets realised so they definitely dodged a bullet imo. At the time I was excited that they were willing to open the pocket book for a star player but Correa hasn't shown much this year and I'm not sure he is the "star" that could carry a team like that contract suggested.
