I'm doing very well and taking walks regularly. I did a 2km trail last week without any issues. Endurance is all that is lacking as my right quadricep tends to send a jolt when I over do it. Its been 2 years ( in 8 days ) since the accident and I have come a very long way from being paralyzed from the neck down. I have booked a flight to Munich on Oct 14th of this year to visit my sons and grandkids. I am going to return to the University of Munich Hospital to give out a number of hugs to those that made this mini miracle possible. I get frustrated a lot , but I have never lost sight of the fact that I am not wheelchair bound because 4 very talented surgeons chose to use me as a Guinea Pig and attempt a new procedure. They removed 2 bones from my spine ( C4 - C6 ) and fused a disc in that spot to allow the flow of fluid through.Good luck, Franz. But how's your physio session going so far? Can you already do a small hike again?
I have 2 more Grandkids on the way , bringing the total to 10 , and I will one day be able to play soccer with them.
I am blessed and appreciative of the 2nd chance
