Ihor Potieria via R2 T/KO
i usually don't judge a fighter by their age, but in this case i will. Rua is 41 years old now and although he is still a powerful badass, you can tell his speed and durability has declined.this is a big name for a prospect to be adding to his resume. i have to side with the younger fighter with consistent r1 finishing abilities. but giving rua the benefit of the doubt by having this fight last until r2

Paul Craig via R2 TKO
Walker is a crazy, talented, and powerful fighter, but as an evolving fighter he shows too many inconsistencies. they have a common opponent in Jamahal Hill...Craig was victorious via tko and walker lost by ko. craig should be the more calm and definitely more experienced fighter, that should help give him an edge here.

Glover Teixiera via Decision
taking the vet to wear down the knockout artist, Jamahal Hill, until those scorecards. Hill has no wrestling skills, yet Glover is a submission/wrestling artist. Hill will have trouble escaping Glovers suffocating ground and pounds. Given Hills fight iq and durability, i could see this going the full 5 rounds. but i wouldn't be surprised if glover could wrap up hill inside the distance.

Hill R2 KO - A combination of size and speed advantage should help Hill avoid getting into takedown trouble against the much older Teixeira. If that plays out, Hill should be able to wear Teixeira down and piece together combos. I've decided on a round 2 KO because I expect Hill to feel out Glover in the first round (although I'd be fine with a flash KO) before going for the finish in the subsequent rounds.

Burns R3 Decision - Burns hasn't fought since April of last year, I'm hoping the time off has given the older fighter some time to recharge his battery. Meanwhile his opponent, Magny, has fought three times over that same span. Burns should get a nice boost from the home crowd, and hopefully some home brewing from the judges.

Andrade R3 Decision - Andrade would be a tough opponent to take on anywhere, but in Brazil, there is very little path to victory for Lauren Murphy. I do believe Murphy may get a takedown or two, but I don't believe it will bother Andrade. While I do think an Andrade KO/TKO is likely, I've decided on a decision because Murphy is incredibly tough, and I think the only time she's ever been finished was against Shevchenko.
