Interesting. I never heard of it before. Does it have any aspartame in it? Is it better than sweet and low or the other artificial sweeteners out there?
None of that other stuff like aspartame or Sweet and Low bitter stuff. Just erythritol and monk fruit extract.
Erythritol is the stuff that makes the sugar-like substance and the monk fruit extract makes it sweet. It doesn't give you that rush you get right away like sugar gives you that boost of energy. That took a little getting used to but it was like going to diet soda compared to sugar soda.
Now some say there were studies that showed people who take erythritol on a regular basis have a higher incidence of stroke but there's no "cause and effect" between the two. I often wonder if these tests aren't commissioned by the sugar industry.
