Just think those odds are kind of insane for a player of his caliber. I mean we all saw him in college. He was an unstoppable machine. I don't see how he isn't a vital part of the Raiders offense moving forward.
He isn't playing tonight. Hasn't played since first preseason game. Raiders made some bullshit injured foot excuse to hide him. Don't want teams to see how unreal he is until the real season starts.
That or the two elite wr prospects who were drafted in the top 6. A rookie tight end getting enough hype to pass up MHJ / Nabers / Caleb / Daniels is just asking too much. They would all have to get hurt imo. Not even sure that the Raiders unleash Bowers right out of the gate as they will likely run two tight end sets with Mayer. Bowers is an elite prospect but it's the Raiders for starters.

If he ends up with only 500 yards then the Raiders shouldn't have drafted him. Hell, they barely used Mayer their other TE last year and he had almost 350 yards. That's with barely being used.
I think Bowers goes for around 1,200 yards and 14 tds.
