I’m sure the Panthers will hit reset in the next draft with a new QB

And when that’s the case the best players on a team tend to try & take things into their own hands and do too much

The only game he has missed was in Week 3 a year ago when then-coach Frank Reich sat the rookie who had been dealing with an ankle injury. Andy Dalton passed for 361 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-27 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

All time stupidest move by Carolina - 2 1st rounders - 2 2nd’s a 4th AND DJ Moore for the right to move up to get this guy.

Let’s say they stood firm and then wound up trading for Fields this offseason or one of the other veteran QB out there. Still holding the number 1 (or even a top 3 pick) and could have went after Marvin Harrison Jr to pair with Moore - easily would have attracted a QB with that pairing.

Hell - Jacoby Brissett to Panthers made much more sense than anyone. Organization simply has no clue on winning or maintaining fan base - it’s been slipping for almost a decade now and getting very bad.

Draft picks are 50/50 proposition regardless of who it is or how good they were in college. For every peyton manning there is a ryan leaf. For every cj stroud there is a jamarcus russell
