JJ like when you had your fencing company. If you were looking for workers and placed an ad for
$10 dollars an hour - no takers. Bump that to $30 dollars an hour and you have position filled.
But the 30 dollar an hour eats into your profit - finding the sweet spot where both employer and employee are happy is the challenge.
Back during the height of the pandemic I know some people that were being paid more to stay home from the government then actually going to work. But JJ to answer your question I employers need to definitely pay more to obtain good employees
central florida is the worst. so many illegals in little construction gangs of 4-7
not blaming them ppl take whatever they are given. but now the base pay is like $14/hr in the heat and dirt
impossible to build a life off that, prime guy 25 whats the point really you cant ever save anything. those illegals will form gangs and revolt at some point as well. saw it at a factory in NH and i dont get out much
Minimum wage is the USA is $7.25 an hour, it hasnt changed since 2008 I believe. With inflation through the roof, although it has come down a bit... People can't pay the Bills on $7.25/hr.
