All great basketball players have the most turnovers

It goes hand in hand with being complete players, play the most minutes, and sometimes have little help

All of the great players aren’t on the most turnovers list by coincidence

There are things that coincide with it

Why aren’t just all average or below average players who played a long time filling the list?

As for Caitlin Clark, it’s her first year

She also has zero help - none - nada - zilch

Indiana had #1 pick for good reason

She is the Barry Sanders of basketball right now

A one-woman army

So as a great player she has to try & do too much

And to top it off what makes it far worse for is she’s being targeted every night

The other team is playing her much harder than they do on most nights and we already know the reasons why which has been discussed openly & publicly

This entire debate reminds me of when ppl say Russell Westbrook sucks and only a stat-stuffer

If that’s the case, then many other players would be averaging triple-doubles for an entire season solely to get themselves bigger & better contracts

But nobody else does because they aren’t capable of it…

Yeah but her turnovers are at a whole different level

She was having turnover issues at Iowa too

Like she is going to blow away the single season record for turnovers . 5.5 is absurdly bad

She just is too sloppy sometimes.

Get what you’re saying

But a lot of times players in her position would actually have better volume stats if her teammates suck

She’d probably have worse stats if she was on a better team
