Mbappe starts on the bench. That's the headline.....

Both sides are showing a 4 - 3 - 3 set up , France with Griezmann , Thuram and Dembele ....and The Dutch with Gakpo , Depay and FRIMPONG. This Frimpong ( Bayer Leverkusen ) makes me a fan every time I see him play. He is in one gear at all times and attacks you anytime you defend one on one. The weather in beautiful Gelsenkirchen ( B.Leverkusen home field ) is 21c and a light rain
A win here would put the winner through to the knockout stage. Even with a number of stars on the bench , this one is must see TV.......

Spain gave Italy a bit of a schooling

Italy spent the majority of the game chasing shadows and rolling around to get their breath back. Spain look as good as anyone so far

Wonder what they make Spain to win at prior to the 3rd group game ? Once they annihilate Albania , it will drop like a rock

That Italian goalie has to be #1 in the World right now. Neuer has been injured a lot the past 2 years and this kid took over. Best player of the match

All the soccer pundits seem to think Turkey can play Portugal to a draw. I didn't get the chance to watch any of the match between Georgia and Turkey, although the score seemed inflated @ 3 - 1. The stats suggest it was a very close game and Georgia missed a number of chances. Portugal dominated the Czech Rep , who scored on their only chance. Portugal had 69% possession and managed 75 attacks vs 19 for the Czech's. I consider The Czech Rep to be a better side then Turkey and Portugal are light years ahead of Georgia. Even in a steady downpour , Portugal looked crisp with their ball movement. Its 23c / 73f and partial cloud in Dortmund tomorrow. I just think they control the game from start to finish

I like Portugal in this game but I did read from Diamond Jack across the street he thought Turkey would get at least one. He is doing well on Euro games and played the BTTS as well so I tailed.
