Yes to all, I suppose.

But today's conversion is originally a sabermetric approach. Not just in using a somewhat modified runs scored model to get the forecast, but the conversion too, using pythag.

I need to a video to make that approachable to more bettors, at varying levels. I actually prepeared one, but never did it. I think I mentioned that long ago in FlyMe.

I'm pretty sure LT profits is a saber guy, sometime after I made that post his MLBN picks thread was bumped. I went in, notcied he had MIAMI +150 from earlier this morning...which was way before I made my post. I'm not surprised he found value there.

I might make a lot more "adjustments" than he does though.

Good to see the grape come out whole and intact after going through the Dove's digestive system. Especially since after eating the grape, the Dove was eaten by a wolf.

You know how I love real time examples. Here's one based on thatt video info...

In roughly a 9.5 point game I figure the no vig line here of -125.74/+125.74 with Toronto favored. Pinny is dealing a no vig line of -137.90/+137.90 and offering +133 for Pit.

You can see, at the current market, that there is just enough overlay for my "sharp" line to be halting the Pit price from rising. As of now, I'd consider the sharp side of the market leading on the dog and thus "truer" no vig price here of about +133 is in play.

The "sharps" are stopping the public from raising the Toronto line with the current hold. Perhaps losing 5 straight like Fazzer said has taken it's toll on the public betting even if there some looking for that streak to break.

Let's see how this trades going forward today.

For more on leading and lagging lines, public and sharp driven, this is a good reference...

Knocked that Bish right off that bike.

I wonder if that back of his jacket says "If you can read this, the bitch fell off"

That might have been better for the joke thread.

Not really sure where to put this, though...

He's fired.i guess he didn't want to go to Las Vegas. He went out on his shield.cant say I agree with it though

How long do you have to boil the beans before you add everything or do you add it all at once?
Overnight soak in salted water (brine), then drain & rinse. Cover with fresh hot water from the sink (as hot as you can get it out of the tap), then low-&-slow gentle simmer with the lid tilted gently stirring every 20-30 minutes or so, or until they’re nice & creamy (adding extra hot water if necessary). Strain & set the beans aside, but save the bean water - that’s the chili ‘broth’. I like to thicken it with masa flour, corn starch, tomato paste & spices, bring it to a boil until it’s near thick chili consistency, then add everything back in and simmer through…..

Truer no vig line, great video, need to rewatch again.

There's the miscalculated no vig line one might think halfway between the 2 lines, then the no vig line, then the truer no vig line. Then the gambler's who don't pay attention to pin knee at all or any lines and try to pick winners, so many different levels to this shit.

Locking out some gamblers and drawing in some gamblers without them even knowing.

Been trying to educate the homies on the concept of no vig pinny

Looking good as always. Thought I'd pass on some information I'd read regarding hot tap water in cooking in case you're interested.

can't post links yet but will post an excerpt

PSA: Don’t drink or cook with hot water from the tap

Picture this: It’s pasta night. You’re excited, naturally. Boiling water takes forever, so you decide to speed things up by filling the pot with scalding hot tap water instead of cold.

DON’T DO IT!

Why? Well, because your hot water from the tap can contain contaminants.

If you didn’t realize this, you’re not alone.

Hot water systems like tanks and boilers contain metallic parts that corrode as time goes by, contaminating the water. Hot water also dissolves contaminants in pipes faster than cold water.

And no, boiling the water does not make those contaminants (like lead) go away.

Considering that many homes have internal plumbing with some presence of lead, this can be a big deal; however, it’s not the only potential water quality issue looming in the home.
