The real reason is that I joined BMR, and stopped posting at SBR.

They didn't like that and said as much.

So I am "no longer wanted" at SBR.

I suppose that depends. Are they jealous of BMR because you post here and are they taking it out on you?

The questioning site policy thing was obviously not real, there was no policy to question. Like I said we weren't there yet.

But I was told that going to BMR made them angry and it was evident in me being harrassed there the moment I moved here.

I'm not too concerned, I've made like 4 posts there in the last two and half months, most my friends are here, and most everyone else I contact via phone. Not much of a loss to me.

In my opinion, SBR shouldn't care if an individual poster leaves, any Forum should be happy that anybody is posting in any Forum at all.

But two of the most enduring and viewed threads on that site suddenly stopped with the keystroke of one post.

This, I am told, was too much for them. Now one of those threads is outright missing.

poster and 99.9% of posters would directly disagree with what that dangerous and unjust moderator said about you . Even posters that have had beef with you would disagree with what was said .

It was so out of pocket and false that it's hard to wrap your mind around it .

You didn't deserve ANY of that treatment

It's a sad day at that site . Their problems are even bigger than I realized. More toxic than I imagined .

Yeah, it's a little crazy.

Have to question the sobriety or something there, guy seems completely out of his mind and to harbor resentement over the facts that I said he overreacted and that I came to BMR, leaving SBR, for months just hoping I'd post again so he could say that seems so odd.

All he did was justify being reported. But as far as an email, I never sent one. I even said I reported him, so I'm not sure what part about that I'm not "owning".

Nothing in what he wrote made any sense to the reality of the situation. He's just trolling, and in this case he sought me out to do it.

Hence why he deleted it all, including the thread it was in, he wasn't going to allow a response or defense, he knows he lost that one in an embarrassing way.

DDD, I found something out.

Asking what happened to your thread somehow constituted me publicly questioning SBR policy, even though a policy or reason was never stated. For all we know it was a server error.

Regardless, that question resulted in a permanent ban (and a bunch of random insults from a mod).

I guess if you're going to interpret every single post a poster makes as being some kind of passive aggressive move, when it isn't, you're bound to get stuck in a warped sense of reality.

I figure that was part of the problem, but that can't be all. Trying to find a way to see an honest mistake here, but it just seems so much more like misplaced anger and vengeance.

Funny thing is, those guys asked me if I wanted to be mod, not that long ago. Not saying a job was officially offered, because I chose not to as I felt I could contribute more than that to the site.

Maybe that was insulting to them, I guess we'll never really know.
