I wonder if this backfires on Putin. He's been able to stay in power after taking out his left wing critics, but he's never gone after his critics from the right like this before.
Prigozhin had a lot of loyalists and the left already hates Putin. Seems like Putin might be running short on allies in Russia.
Not sure its wise to piss off 50-70K Wagner troops who are armed and are the best fighting group Russia HAD. All these men were being paid by Prigozhin. If Putin doesn't pony up the money, they may come for him.
