Just wanted to share some experiences, not sure how prevalent the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS®) protocols are. The doc had her drinking it 4-5 hours before the operation in the morning, it was the only thing she was able to eat or drink, also had one the night before. Something like 8-10 oz of liquid, I think they said Gatorade is an alternative if you don't want to spring for the brand name stuff. This guy really knows his shit, one of the top knee surgeons in the world. Has a beautiful female staff as well, really knows how to pick em
