Good stay neutral on this game like the field they will play on.

This quarterback transfer from Wisconsin has proved me wrong this year Graham Mertz. This will be his biggest test of the season playing against the number one ranked defense in the nation versus Georgia. His completion percentage is 3rd in the nation at 76.2 % & has 12 Td’s 2 Int’s.

I feel like the Gators have the quarterback edge in this matchup. If the Gators can stabilize their offensive line for most of the game they will move the ball, and if they win the turnover battle, I feel like they can even win this game.

So no Brock Bowers in this game for the Bulldogs. He got hurt last week at Vanderbilt in the first half. The second half Georgia played an even 13 -13 game and didn’t cover the spread. They are now 1-5-1 on the spread this year.

Funny, without looking you hit on two keys in the game. I wrote same thing in the Stormy thread:

1) If Bowers was out LAST YEAR...it was just one in a stable of future pros. This year, it feels bigger b/c he was the primary offensive option.

2) Mertz is the wildcard. He played great in 1h vs Tenn. More poised than I had ever seen at Wisconsin.
