I’m not sure how to handle this. I’m thinking I may add an extra hundred and do a nba playoffs pick the champion for 200. Mike gets first pick and then a free for all after that. Only because unc didn’t technically win. However, if the popular opinion is to pay him as winner….then I will do so.

Common sense, if whoever in first place is disqualified then 2nd place becomes 1st - you said it yourself in yours posts #94&95 in this thread.

There's a reason there are prizes, and that reason is so someone can be awarded now - not someone else twice later, just common sense.

The prize tard promised has to be paid to someone now that the tournament is over, I don't care who gets it, but for the tournament sponsor/organiser to even suggest not to pay it out for any reason and instead to keep the prize to distribute in another tournament is disreputable but not surprising for someone of s credibility.

And yeah Enikk, I am calling a stiff for even suggesting not to pay, that's the mentality of a stiff - to delay delay delay and make excuses, then claim not to be stiff when finally paying up.

Rudy was opposite, I told him later is fine no rush and even told him not to pay since it all in good fun, and I wouldn't have called him a stiff if he took my offer not to pay - because it's my decision to collect it or not, but Rudy insisted pretty forcefully actually so I profited, and this shows Rudy is good character instead of somehow always looking for ways out of what they promised like .
