Fla International +17 ovr Liberty. 2 units
Returning over14 starters including the QB for Fla, will make this a revenge game after the beating last year as a 10pt dog 38-6 to Liberty.
A year ago FLA INT was a -12 negative scoring team. This year they are -1 with the #18 ranked Indiana loss included.
Liberty has NOT improved in scoring difference this year from last year as of right now, so this could be a close game.

New Mexico State +21.5 over Jacksonville State. 2 units

Spread is too large. These two played Last year and J'ville won20-17. One main factor though is that they won inspite of 4 turnovers.
Last week J'ville dominated over Chainssaw State and Southern Miss on 6 S.Miss turnovers.

Thursday
Coastal Carolina+10 over James Madison. 5 units
The stats for JM are tilted badly. In the win over North Carilina, NC had 5 turnovers. When considering that in a 70-50 game-score - a look at the actual defense of JM reveals that even scoring 70 points - the opponent posted 50 with all those turnovers.
And 2 weeks later, JM struggled with UL Monroe in the first conference game losing 19-21..!


MTSU +4.5 over La.Tech. 3 units
Main difference here are the defenses.
LT is solid at 21 points per game. They dont score much, but play without turnovers.
Considereing that MTSU played Old Miss and Duke they should have a better time against same-grade competition.
They do return their starting QB from last year which should keep them in this.
MTSU also played 3 plus scoring teams with #9 Ole Miss, Duke, Memphis.
LT played 3 negative scoring teams.

UTEP +19.5 over Western KY 3 units.
The season opening loss to Nebraska inflated the defensive stats for UTEP. They've been in every game since except last week vs SHSU because they had 4 turnovers in a game that was lined @10 points.
Not ready to put WKY as a 20 point type favorite team here.

NorthWestern +10.5 over Marland. 3 units
One common opponent was Indiana. The two played them back-to-back the last 2 weeks. Maryland lost 42-28 and the game was way worse than that. Indiana had four(4) turnovers.
Northwestern lost to Indiana 41-24. in a clean game.

Arizona State +5.5 over Utah. 3 units.
AZ St is vastly improved from a year ago and ranked in top 18 on defense.
This is a revenge game as last year Utah beat them 55.-3.
Utah is ranked 15th on defense.
Utah lost last week to Arizona in a low scoring 23-10 game @ Utah.

Saturday.

Noon/
Washington +3 over Iowa. 3 units
Unranked now and on the ay down is Iowa. Washinton is coming up and has the better defense by far.

Wisconsin +1.5 over Rutgers. 3 units
Wisky lost to Alabama and USC of which BOTH are better than Rutgers.
The Knights were expeosed last week by Nebraska, wong team favored.


North Carolina +3. over GT 3 units
Ive been leaning against GT all year because of their over rated win in game one.
Wrong team favored here based on competition.

Wake Forest +21 over Clemson. 2 units
WF has faced 6 winning record teams and played even in points averaging at 31. Not sure of Clemson can separate that number.
Home dog with 16 starters returning in eluding the QB gives them some consistency.

Cal +8 over Pitt. 2 units
Cal has 7 pt better defense and rolled over Miami, Fla, last game. Pitts number arent as good a Maimi's.

Virginia +7.5 over L'Ville. 5 units
Virg neat BC and WF SU and L'Ville beat over red GT but lost to SMU as a favorite of 6.5 pts.
This is the FIRST fame where Virgina is the dog!!

USC +3.5 over Penn State . 3 units
PSU only averaging 44 pts per game last 2. This is a road game and scoring 24 wont win it vs high Scoring SoCal.

Cincinnati +3 over UCF. 3 units
Revenge game where Cincy out gained UCF by 100 yds last year but lost on 2 turnovers. Cincy returns 17 starerts w/QB and has the better defense today in last three games.

Oklahoma +17 over Texas. 4 units
Ok ML + 550. 2 units
Texas is ranked #1 on defense and #7 on offense but all the games were against teams that lacked scoring. The only competitive gam they game was with Michigan who was no way ready for the game with the loss of 13 starters from a year ago and a new coach.
This line is too large and IF Texas wins it will be on the last score.

FL ML +430 2 units
Conference game. Vol;s haven scoring like they did with out of conference competition. Vols only averaging 19 pts per game/

8PM
W. Virginia+4 over Iowa State. 5 units
Both team are un defeated vs unranked teams. But ISU played 5 unranked opponents and have not been tested. Virginia played #4Penn State and #22Pitt.
Home field game and played tougher opponents pouts me on W. Virginia.

Syracuse -4 over N.C.State. 3 units
Cuse has #3passing offense while N.C. Sate has the 49 th best passing defense. The Orange live by the pass averaging 36 points per gme..

Oregon +3 over Ohio State 5 units.
Buckeyes faced 5 cream puf teams/ All unranked.
Oregon ranked #3 and at home has all the advantages here. 1 common opponent was Michigan State.
OSU was favored by 23 while Oregon was favored by 22.

Minnesota -3.5 over UCLA. 4 units
UCLA is 0-4 against postive scoring teams.
