Oh wow. We did the S-21 prison, super sad. Didn’t have the energy and time to do the killing fields and I heard there is no shade and it was the middle of the day. Cambodia has a depresssing history. Someone mentioned you don’t see many elderly Cambodians because a lot of them were killed during the genocide. I will say they’re some of the most resilient and strong people I’ve met.

I’ve done the killing fields a few times. Where I’m going today is not on the map for tourism. i have a local connect and he said the government doesnt allow tourism where we are going. should
