Best thing is to leave him alone and hopefully he will heal. It is never a good thing when healthy people all the sudden end up in ICU.

They will give you room number or discharge info. This has nothing to do with HIPPA laws. They won't tell you that he has a Fusilli Jerry stuck up his ass but they will give you room number or release date

According to CK in his first post, he was admitted to Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro NC. Good hospital with a decent reputation. If someone knows his full name, they can call the hospital and they will tell you if he has been released, assigned to a room or still in ICU.

Yeah, I saw that. A lot of the bad reviews seem centered around ER and waiting times. Hopefully he is recouping and just unable to post.

KK, when you were in the hospital were you limited in accessing BMR because of your condition? I know you were injured pretty severely so maybe you couldn't use the phone.

I ask because my wife works in a hospital and when I visit her, their wifi restricts access to BMR. I guess they think its a gambling site.?.?. Cell service sucked in the hospital too.





Man, I sure hope CK is doing OK. The longer we go without hearing from him, the more I'm worried.

Damn - haven’t been around in a while (dealing with selling the 2nd house - short staffed at work and simply caught up in life with little time to check in on forums) and come back to see this - man, don’t feel so stressed about everything I’m dealing with seeing what’s going on with CK.

CK - first of all, hope everything is getting better and the lack of response is just due to being unable to log in. If your having trouble accessing or don’t feel up to responding - can always ask one of the aides/volunteers who come around to post an update

Everyone - if he is at IC at Cone - let me say it is an excellent facility. Certainly don’t want to be in intensive care anywhere - but if I had to go to one in the triad - it would be Cone hands down. Better than Baptist by a mile - IC there is very cardiac focused from what little I know of it. It’s not a small hospital - but not the biggest either.

Sucks I am no longer down there - or I’d be happy to stop by and just check in/see if I could get an update for those that care on the forum. It’s a strange thing - we are basically strangers on these forums - but it does become like a family. You talk daily with someone who you’ve never met - and then life happens and many do genuinely care.

Let’s all hope for a speedy and full recovery. I’m not exactly one for the whole “thoughts and prayers” bit - but know there are alot of people pulling for you here.
