Hardest sport to win at ?

Soccer is the hardest to win at by far. It has 3 way wagering to start with ,and several variables that effect an outcome like no other sport. Since the induction of VAR , every goal is reviewed and every infraction is taken into account. You also have the dreaded Red Card where a player is dismissed for the entire game.

I never bet Soccer with a 3 way line, 100% of the time I do Asian handicapping.

Soccer is the easiest for me, NFL the hardest

Glad you’re back and safe.

I suspect for many soccer is tough because they simply don’t follow the non English leagues and because they are blindly betting favorites.

I’ve learned when I play soccer - stick to totals. Need to apply the same logic to NFL too.

I do Asian handicapping as well. No way to avoid the 3 way wager tho. If you take a side , the draw within 90 minutes always applies

As of right now it’s probably soccer, tennis, maybe NHL as DJ mentions in first post

MLB has been a coin flip this year, NBA is impossible to handicap now with the high scoring & no defense, no logic to the NFL, and there’s more & more parity than ever in college football & basketball

You can win at golf but you have to do what the pros do and thats play h2h matchups only. Even then it's a tough sport to beat because there's so much randomness in golf. When I've bet golf I always tried to take a swing at the winner but of course that rarely turned out well. I've hit a couple of those in past years and even just one can pay for your whole season if it's a longer odds golfer which is why I kept on trying those.

I feel the exact same way about Nascar bets. H2H is the way to go for me. I do much better than trying to pick the winners out of the entire field.

Your MLB is solid this year, way better than my season.

I think this is the first time in a long time that I've had a winning MLB season. Just one of those things that I can't really explain I've just been hitting whatever plays I've made ever since I made my thread and it's turned my season around from being a losing one before I made the thread to currently a couple units up.

NFL is the hardest because it is the most followed and is easy to measure statistically. Soccer has a massive following but is harder to measure so not as hard. Any major professional sport is basically impossible to beat for an average bettor.

The average bettor simply isn’t disciplined enough to win - even if the odds are slightly in their favor.

You could give them +105 on coin flips and guys would manage to lose - betting big after a few wrong calls. Just because you have the advantage doesn’t mean you can’t lose short term. Some people don’t get that.

Matchups or individual winner/top 5-10 ?

Picking an individual is tough in general - so many variables and juiced up lines.

I’ve used matchups for arbitrage plays - but rarely play the sport as a bettor.

I mean to play, bro.

Never got the hang of it.
