=+ make ur own server and design ur own rules + co owners + mods + roles etc. etc. etc.
=Super Slick , smooth interface, while supporting an INSANE no. of users simultaneously.
=some of the best audio codec/ quality.
=can be used for streaming, upto 16 ppl in a VC, all at once. for free. (zoom is ashamed 45min. limit)
=u can pay for discord nitro for perks, but they're mostly visuals/ not features really needed by most.
=its FREE. 0 Ads/Extra clicking.

on that note, why dont u guys check out the r/Sportsbook betting server ?
only ~90,000 members. lol

it would be wise to familiarize with basic bots and commands in general. - but more for the savvy
the most important ones are already automated. (the joe rogan pic. one)

For example, in this particular server say.

an injury report surfaces on twitter... BOOM, bot pops up right away with info.
botcmd: whats the consensus on sport X , Team X? BOOM, here the % and $ %.
whats the bot command to ask thing X? near instant answer.
want a working stream for Game X ? ... near instant answer, by some1 in the community.
etc. etc.

Discord is basically a live chat Reddit, but on crack. and we all know how useful reddit is.

and unlike reddit, or other social media. its not THAT addictive.
if anything, u might get addicted to interacting with very specific people/ communities.
