He's actually had a great pre season by all accounts and no they're not going to rest him once the games begin for real next week. I think this kid is for real and San Antonio is set for the next decade or so. He'll have some growing pains his rookie year but as long as he doesn't get hurt he's the odds on favorite to win Rookie of the Year.

He does play like a guard in a centers body. Can shoot and is learning how to play defense under Coach Pop. Spurs fans should be excited about their teams chances now that they got this generational talent on their roster.
