I think the Spurs are going to be a problem in the West. Lots of good young talent surrounding Wemby and of course Pop can still coach. Now that he has something to work with the playoffs aren't out of the question.

Had limited playing time with 5 fouls in the first game of the season but making a difference late in the 4th.

They would’ve won this game easy if he was the focal point I watch the entire game it’s obvious he’s their best player. I don’t know if it’s poor coaching but he’s not getting the ball enough

That's disrespectful. This man is an impact player he just needs more minutes. He was in foul trouble tonight so that limited his time on the court but it's obvious this kid can play. San Antonio will be in the running for a play in game berth this year if not more in a loaded Western conference.

I'm trying to think of who you can compare him to and just can't think of the perfect comparison because we've never seen anyone like him before. The closest guy to me is he reminds me of a taller Kevin Durant as scary as that sounds. KD is 6'9 with a 7 foot wing span and can shoot as well as handle like a guard. Wemby can handle the rock and shoot it from the perimeter better than most big men. It's a lofty comparison but I feel like he will live up to it with a little more seasoning.
