There was another Penn State quarterback everyone thought was an NFL prospect that was being held back by Franklin not long ago. I don’t think he ever started a NFL game. I think it was Hankenburg. He stunk it up worse than Aller.

Same thing happened at the end of the game before the 2 minute time out. Penn St had 3 timeouts and he let the clock run down for what seemed like 30 seconds until it reached 2:00.

I was thinking "Why doesn't the coach call a time out here???" Then I realized it was Franklin.

I don’t think that Franklin is responsible for destroying careers, but I do think that the Penn State quarterbacks under Franklin haven’t been anything special at the college or pro level. He has had great skill position players and linemen, but overall he is getting the best out of these over hyped quarterbacks he has had. If they were so good they would be decent pros. Franklin’s quarterbacks don’t see the field at the NFL level. Its the chicken and the egg effect. Does Franklin not get the best quarterbacks to play for him or is he getting the best out of average quarterbacks? He is definitely not developing them at helping them get better at the college level. Penn State quarterbacks don’t win big games either.

OK, today (Sunday) in the Patriots/Titans game, 2:40 left on the clock with the Titans having the ball. Patriots coach with 3 timeouts calls a timeout. JUST LIKE FRANKLIN had except the Patriots coach knows what to do, Franklin doesn't.

He's the worst coach in colleges football. Pretty easily too.

Recruits excellent players year after year and still can't win anything big with the talent.

He is horrible beyond measure.
