But seriously, maybe rules could be clarified or even tweaked a little for this final stretch? I see Skybook and Nitrobetting used by players. Sometimes @samsncharge99 is around to quickly confirm the line actually exists at the time... but does have have the tools to check the line, at that moment, if he logs on 5 minutes or 5 hours later?

I'd like to understand the rules better. Because anyone who picks lines from 25 books will be at an advantage over another player picking from 15 (BMR 'screen' has even fewer than 15).

I hate to make it harder for Sam to grade, so the simpler these rules are, the better IMHO.

@sunshine11 @martinhop there's 23 books listed on BMR odds page. If you are using your phone it might be difficult to see, but on desktop it's pretty easy to scroll b/t all the books.

The odds you post in theory should be the best odds you see using any of the books. You don't personally have to be using that particular book to use it.

I personally use books from BMR odds I don't use but for the contest the lines are better

to confirm odds, all I do is go to BMR odds page, find the book and you can click onto the line to search the line history. Then I see what time the bet was posted in comparison to the line listed to confirm

so for @Headsterx posted 941pm at william hill...mariners -1.5 +170

the line changed at 1018 to +160 but when posted valid bet at +170




so in my mind, nothing needs to be changed, no foul play

Something he does with regularity prior to checking the facts first. " It is often better to be considered a fool then to open ones mouth and remove all doubt.

yea i created this thread on march 26th and continued to edit post 1 until may 15th. So there has been a few adjustments and changes and adding rules or clarifying verbaige.

But since May 15th...so talking almost 3 months, no issues have occurred. I've made a few scoring mistakes and a couple audits, but overall as a group we are all doing a great job of being honest and fair

You can post a play in advance, just type the date for the future play and line/sportsbook you got it from. So if it's 8pm and you want to post a play for the following day, just type the date and day of the week for the play in your post to acknowledge it's a tomorrow play and not today play.
