I'm taking a risk and going with the Gators +3. I know. I know. I'm an a$$hole but I like their chances as a dog at home.

Yeah I get the whole live home dog week 1, but I’m not buying with this game. Florida might win 4 games all season long.

I will be betting 5K a unit very selectively in the beginning of my football season. I’m set out to risk 1-3 units a game. If these plays go well and I stay above water they will remain collectively structured. I might have 50 plays max all season long.

1st up is Miami -150 ML for 3 units. I am very confident with this play and I see a 38-17 type game. I may break down my specific reasons I like this play later on in this thread. This will be the only bet I make in NCAAF thru week 0-1. Call this a professional wager because that‘s how I see it !

Still, I really enjoy watching the highlights and became a fan of them once Jimmie Johnson came to coach the Cowboys.

What are the expectations this year for the Longhorns haven’t really researched them at all. Been researching a month though about this matchup. I think this is the wrong game to play contrarian with the Gators, as I see most experts like Florida plus the points.

A lot like them to build on last year’s success.

Lost a lot of skill position studs like Georgia did (Xavier Worthy, Jonathan Brooks and TE Sanders (both with Carolina), but have a lot waiting in the wings as Coach Sark is a great recruiter.

With Ewers returning at QB and the Manning kid filling some as maybe a guy who can move around and out of the pocket more, they have a good chance to meet Georgia in the SEC title game and possibly reach the playoff quarters, semis or best case scenario finals.

I brought a mini backpack with me, had 3 envelopes of 5K cash plus $500 in my wallet. A lot of security all around didn’t feel unsafe. The thing with me is I’m always watching my surroundings down in South Florida regardless if I’m holding wads of cash or not.

i remember when I used to go to Vegas and I had maybe 1000-1500 in my pocket and I basically held my arm against my pants pocket.

Can't imagine the 15K or more in my possession. Great feeling but also edgy

The books have Texas projected 2nd in SEC behind Georgia this year.

Did you have to make arrangements with the bank ahead of time for that size withdrawal?
I ask because local banks won't let you take over $5k cash without a days notice.
