NFL has gotten better with being less violent but on the way up through youth leagues high school college etc lotta people taking damage if people wanna do it I can't stop it I'm just one dude and i'll watch from time to time but I wouldn't allow it.
Two main problems is bad coaching at an early level and helmets. Take away the helmets and the incompetent coaches that try to "toughen" up someone by mismatching them against vastly superior competition. If you want to teach a kid toughness and discipline wrestling is a much better and safer sport.

Andre Waters was the dirtiest I believe. Those late 80s/early 90s Eagle defensive players under Buddy Ryan would destroy you and they had bounties on players. Fvcking crazy shit. Today's game is weak compared to that. I am surprised Troy Aikman can even talk today he was drilled so hard. Look up different Eagle bounty games like the "Body bag game" or the thanksgiving game where the had a bounty on the Dallas Kicker and just went at him on the kick-off. You younger members have to see this shit. Buddy Ryan was fvcking crazy and the mastermind of that 1985 bears defense.

As you watch him grow you'll learn real quick whether the kid has 'it' or not.

If he's aloof or picking dandelions or staring at the sky then it's not his thing, if he's focused, interested, and equal to his peers in athletic ability then he'll be fine until the next growth spurt...HS roll around he better have some beef to him!

Now Le....of course our child will be 6'3 210, lean yet muscular, dark hair w Steph Curry eyes. Only question is who gets to him first, Notre Dame, The NFL or GQ magazine.
I was picking dandelions and staring and the sky today. Mostly talking to God about why he made the Browns lose on Sunday.

"The Body Bag Game was a Monday Night Football game that was played on November 12, 1990 at Veterans Stadium. The Eagles defeated the Redskins 28–14. Its nickname comes from a pre-game boast from Eagles head coach Buddy Ryan, who told reporters his team would inflict a beating on Washington so bad "they'll have to be carted off in body bags". Then during the game 9 Redskins players left with injuries, and an Eagles player reacted to one of those injured Redskins by yelling, "Do you guys need any more body bags?""

I liked Buddy Ryan’s defense with the Bears. It was fun to watch though as a 49er fan hated the Bears and Mike Ditka We beat them on a bone chilling championship game in the Windy City was a great game. But anyway they’d put 8 on the line and mad dash forward at the snap of the ball.

Alright, one more gem for the younger crowd. Ever see a team hate a team so much they fake the knee and run up the score with a bomb. This shit was so good. NFL needs a rivalry like this again.

Oh yeah, Philly fans cheering when Michael Irvin got injured. And this Sunday Night is Cowboys v. Eagles!
