4-1 Saturday as Iowa State was my only loser in a game they lost outright to Kansas. I win both college hoops plays and 2-1 in college football to go 2-2 for the week in college football. Hopefully I end the week with a bang in NFL tomorrow.

2-1 NFL Sunday as the Steelers and Saints both win outright and the Colts fail to cover against the Bills who weren't overlooking them with the Chiefs on deck which is why I went with the Colts because I thought they'd catch the Bills slipping but they didn't.

Figures NFL would be the only bet I lose tonight and it's the one I actually felt the strongest about when I made my bets today. I am having a tough year in NFL this year for whatever reason. I had a winning week this week but it's been a struggle compared to previous years when my college picks were where I struggled while my NFL picks went well. Complete opposite this year but that's the way it goes I suppose in betting.

4-1 night tonight as my Cats and Warriors get it done outright. The total didn't go over in the Kentucky game because Kentucky only allowed 26 points in the second half but I'm excited about the win over Duke tonight.

4 plays for me tonight as I try to keep it going on the hardwood. In college hoops tonight I only made one play because I feel like it's a trickier card with a bunch of teams favored by big spreads out there. I like CAL to go on the road against Vandy and keep the game close. Both teams have completely overhauled their roster through the transfer portal and I think Mark Madsen will find a way to keep this one close. I just don't think Vandy should be favored by this much even though their home court advantage is unique with the benches on the baseline. I'd make this line 3 or 4 though not 7.5 so I'm taking a shot with CAL tonight.
In the NBA I made three plays tonight. First up I like Cleveland early and often against Philly who will be sitting all three of their star players for various reasons. Maxey is still hurt and Embiid and George are resting on the second night of a back to back. Cleveland is the best team in the NBA so far this young season and they are 7-4-1 in the first half ATS so I'm taking them in the 1H here even though I like them full game. I just didn't want to lay -11 when I could have gotten it at -9.5. I still think they blow out Philly but I feel more comfortable playing the first half.
My second play is on the total in the OKC/NO game. OKC tends to play to the over at home and without Chet Holmgren in the lineup I think their defense suffers especially with no rim protection since both their big men are out. While I do have some concerns about New Orleans playing without a lot of key players I do think they can at least score enough to help this one get over.
My last play is taking the Nets and the points against the Celtics. The Celtics lost last night to the Hawks and I'm not sure if their main guys are going to play their full complement of minutes because they played a ton last night against the Hawks in the loss. I think the Nets can hang around here and make this a game against a Celtics team that may be a little fatigued.
