I feel like the Lakers made a great pick at 17 with Dalton Knecht. I hate Tennessee but that kid is born to score and he's mature. i would have taken him over a lot of the guys in the top 10 but what do I know I'm a college basketball fan and not an NBA scout.

He played 30 minutes a game which was third highest on the team. Only Cal knows why he brought Dillingham and Sheppard off the bench when they were 2 of the Cats three best players. Doing so usually resulted in Kentucky trailing early in the game until Reed and Rob came in to provide scoring off the bench. I see both of these guys having good careers but I worry about Reed on defense and Rob's size in comparison to the guys that will be guarding him. That didn't bother him in college but he's an undersized 2 in the league.

Gregg Popovich always said European players had the better work ethic. He took some of those players as far as you can.

Kobe played overseas too, probably picked up that mamba mentality in Italy, then brought it to the US only to dominate.
