Some of us stand up guys have, like Cincinnati Kid , myself

There are some others, but the majority just don’t talk about it. They’ll just focus on their winning.

I carry a mirror in my front pocket, and I constantly look at myself

They don't remember yesterday, never seen anything like it. They could lose a ton of $ in a few days and if they win a just a little of it back, they are hooting and howling how they are "up" and winning.

So we never got to the root of where he gets all his money to lose ? My guess he has a rich father.
No he's technically homeless. He owns nothing he said so himself. His father lives in a $210k home a state away. His wife works for the university so her earnings are posted $64k a year. He delivery sandwiches to the very buildings he went to college in 25 years ago. He's stolen from them for years and has boasted about it.

Your speculation of the truth might not be so far off in-fact.

JJ... What if someone hasn't lost long-term.
Are they at fault for not talking about losing?

Asking for a friend.

You’re most important figure is the lifetime figure but 80% of people don’t even know what that is. They think they’re even the most classic answer I’ve ever heard from a gambler.
I agree there.
You must keep track . I have every year, every individual sport since 1980.

Before then, I think I was just about even.

Let me ask you a simple question do you think I’m a lifetime losing gambler ? What would be your educated guess …

Looking back on it I should have kept better records of all my gambling through the years. This way I could have gotten a really good picture of where I am at. Because honestly JJ I couldn't even begin to tell you

I don't spend money on nothing but food and bills.

If not for gamble I doubt I would have saved that money anyway.

I also would not of gotten a second job so hindsight is 20/20. My guess is 100k life time but that's 25 years so 4k a year is worth what gambling means to me.

I like the fact you know where you stand lifetime for the most part, and can be honest with yourself to share your red figure with us.
