Nicolai Hojgaard with a 2 under par round.

Might have been off a week with him, lol, depsite the value being there last week.

Wouldn't be surprised if he squeezes into the Top 20 or 30 this week after missing the cut last week.

J.T. Poston once again having a good week and was, again, on that radar as a "to win" bet. I also had Cam Davis on that radar.

I did not buy either of them, though, as the focus was on the group bets this week.

I mentioned the first 9 being the place to get the birdies and build the round for the golfers and Denny McCarthy struggled to stay even there.

He goes on to bogey 10, 11, and 12.

Alex Noren practically in the same boat, birdies and bogeys to be even on the front 9 and bogeys on 12 and 13.

They need to shape up or they aren't even going to make the cut.

Current cut line is sitting at -1. If it stays there all four of my guys will at least make the cut.

Once again J.T. Poston is carrying my card.

Getting all 4 guys to moving day would be very promising.

Looks like last week when the cut line moved away from Hojgaard late, this time it did happen a little earlier but looks like it's going to be -2. Hojgaard doing well this week, He was almost a play, but just outside that perceived traget circle for value.

Sometimes trying to make the winning bet instead of the bet that wins can get frustrating (mostly because of patience issues but also because of passing on plays that you see do well) and I can say that there is room to widen that circle, in my opinion. I might consider that and also track these fringe type plays to see how well the do.

These last two weeks are similar so the outlook, or golfers that stood out, was similar, it's the market that I saw as changed. J.T. Poston was one of those that rated high both weeks.

Denny McCarthy might as well have been Jenny McCarthy out on the golf course, as far as that goes as he missed the cut.

Getting to the good weather weekend and making it to moving day is important for these plays. No guarantees but these are the days that my approach is designed for and it would have been awesome to have all four guys there.

But 3 out of 4 is better than none and I hope we can get Poston and one other, I wouldn't mind that. I did not take Poston in top 30, as high as he is rated, it's going to be tough for me to find value if we are laying for a position like DK Top 30.

Things I talked about like "better than" and dead heat rules at different houses, which has been brought up as well, start to add up and laying a -115 doesn't seem to work out.

I know I rambled a bit but I want be transparent in my thinking and keep hitting these weekly golf threads, in next season too, so we can all not only track, but remind ourselves of and maybe learn something new about golf or gambling in general, from the psychology in the 2nd paragraph I wrote above to results of testing at percentages across the board, like -115.

Cam Davis and J.T. Poston trying to make their presence known as both are showing as inside the Top 20.

Not bad, especially of those showers can be come growers.

Alex Noren not much of a shower, but if he's any kind of grower on Sunday, it could be a decent week for the strategy.

A lot of golfers doing well today, weather is nice and course is receptive.

Looks like I'm set up for an interesting Sunday at least.
