Opening line he says “Vegas wears on your soul“ lol I couldn’t imagine living in Las Vegas full time. He starts to name drop in the intro playing craps with celebrities probably bullshit.
Definitely interested in reading Stanford Wong‘s even plus books on gambling as he did. I also agree with him that college football is much easier than the NFL on point spreads with more inefficiencies, which makes sense because there’s about 75% more games in a season.
I call bullshit on him splitting profits with his buddy on the credit accounts he had from local bookies, 50% seems like a far stretch. I do like the fact his passion is always seeking out advantage play & growing as a sports bettor in his career decade by decade. I want to believe I can relate to that.
He says he doesn’t watch a lot of sports and he’s typically just a numbers guy trying to find inefficiencies from square to sharp books in the marketplace. I think this is wrong you need to be watching these games and getting a feel for these teams on a week to week basis.
You need to do both IMO not just the numbers and staring at screens all day. Now I know there’s some posters on this forum that would disagree with me and that’s fine. Anyways overall this was a good interview thanks for the suggestion @Ace7550 .
